How to Build a Standout Extracurricular Profile: Free Workshop for Grades 9-11
In this free workshop, we will walk your family through how Canadian universities actually evaluate extracurriculars, what to start, what to drop, and how to use the years from Grade 9 to Grade 11 to build a profile that stands out against competitive applicants without spreading your child too thin.

We will cover what universities like UBC, U of T, McGill, Western, Queen's, and McMaster actually look for in an extracurricular profile, why "well-rounded" is no longer the winning strategy and what genuine depth looks like instead, how to evaluate the activities your child is already in and decide what to keep versus cut, and how to layer summer programs, research, leadership, and community involvement across Grades 9 through 11. We will also walk through realistic timelines for landing meaningful research, internships, and leadership roles, and how to translate those activities into the kinds of answers the UBC Personal Profile and program supplementary applications (like the Waterloo AIF and Queen's PSE) actually reward.
Parents and students in Grades 9-11 are both welcome. The session is live on Zoom, and we email the link and a short summary after you register.
