Mastering Ivey AEO, Sauder, Rotman & Smith Supplementary Applications: Free Workshop for Grades 8-11
In this free workshop, we will walk your family through the supplementary applications for Canada's top undergraduate business programs: Western's Ivey AEO, UBC Sauder, UofT Rotman Commerce, and Smith Commerce at Queen's. We will cover what each application actually asks, how the responses are read, and what students in Grades 8-11 should be doing this school year to build the substance those responses depend on.

High averages get applicants into the pool at these programs. The supplementary application is where competitive applicants separate themselves. We will go through the four supplementary applications piece by piece: the Ivey AEO application and how its activity and leadership responses are read, the UBC Sauder Personal Profile, the Rotman Commerce supplemental application with its written and video components, and the Smith Commerce (Queen's) Personal Statement of Experience. We will cover what separates a strong response from a polished but empty one, the most common mistakes students make (resume bullets instead of stories, borrowed voice, listing instead of reflecting), and a school-year plan: what Grade 12s should be drafting this fall, and what Grades 8-11 should be building now so there is something real to write about when the time comes.
Parents and students in Grades 8-11 are both welcome. The session is live on Zoom, and we email the link and a short summary after you register.
