Initial assessment
We understand your goals as a family, assess the current profile, grade average and time to prepare, then design a plan around realistic goals.
We guide your child from where they are to where they want to be, with honesty, strategy, and a plan built around their goals. Here is exactly how it works, from the first honest conversation to the offer letter.
Before we promise anything, we weigh four things. If a goal is too ambitious for the current profile, grades and time available, we will say so, kindly and clearly, rather than take your money and hope.
And even when the profile is strong, competitive programs demand a fallback. We help your child identify smart Plan B, C and D options that still align with their aspirations.
Where your child actually wants to go, and why it matters to them.
The extracurriculars and the story behind the grades.
How it compares to the programs they are targeting.
How much runway there is to close the gap.
We guide your child through building their profile, selecting the right courses, and planning meaningful extracurriculars that align with their goals, not a scattered list of activities.
We walk through the applications together: when to prepare, what to prepare, the optimal order to complete them, and the strategic timing of every submission.
We make sure the grade average is competitive through subject-specific tutoring, tailored to the exact programs your child is aiming for.
Not luck. A system.
Every offer our students earn starts the same way: an honest look, a clear plan, and someone walking it beside them.
Delivered over Zoom and shared Google Docs, tracked in a central task manager, with a detailed email recap after every single session.
We understand your goals as a family, assess the current profile, grade average and time to prepare, then design a plan around realistic goals.
We build the extracurricular profile, identify grade-average gaps, and walk through the admissions process with a team that has done it before.
We help your child meet or exceed the competitive average for their target program with 1-on-1 tutoring, aligned to the overall strategy.
We maximise the funding your child is eligible for, navigating the financial-aid system at federal, provincial, school and community levels.
We always tell you the next step, shared with students and parents by email after every session. Parents can observe from afar or get involved.
We tailor everything to each student, selecting advisors and tutors who adapt to different learning styles and individual needs.
We connect the work to the bigger picture, so it never feels like a chore. It feels like intentionally building an ideal future.
We work as a team. Your child works primarily with one advisor, and because each advisor, tutor and coach has different specialties, ambitious goals are supported by more than one specialist.
Sessions are either 30 or 60 minutes, chosen at booking based on need. Tutoring sessions are always 60 minutes.
One credit per 30-minute advising session, two credits per 60-minute advising session, or one credit per tutoring session.
Advising is strategy, review and walkthrough of the admissions process. Tutoring is subject-specific work to lift grades. Coaching builds skills and the wider profile. Advising and coaching often overlap.
Yes. Our first goal is to make your investment cost-neutral. Our second is to help your child graduate debt-free by strategically accessing financial aid through Grade 12 and undergrad.
No. That would be unethical. We provide coaching, guidance, suggestions and line-by-line edits.
Parents and students receive an email recap after every session, and there is a parent and guardian platform for progress visibility. For quick questions, email support@admissionprep.com and we respond within one business day.
Three ways: we set tasks with deadlines each session, send a summary after every session, and always book the next one. If a student cancels or no-shows, we follow up to reschedule.
